Ginger's Daughter

Hello. Our daughter Grace started Step 2 on July 30. She is only up to one capsule of Longvida Curcumin; trying to work up to two. I've been going very slow … turtle speed ! At one point, I actually decreased it because she seemed to be getting more flappy, slappy and less focused. Currently, she is on one capsule with dinner, as mentioned, and doing okay. She still gets flappy, slappy at times (like literally she sometimes will slap her belly or a shoulder), and still have to work to get her attention quite often. But she seems to be feeling good and when I do have her attentIon, she will focus on something and respond. She still has moments though when I have to call her name a few times before she snaps out of it, whatever it is. She will talk about some things to us and remembers things from years ago. People are commenting that she seems more to be doing better. Her dance teacher says she is doing everything asked of her (that is a happy place for her). Her labs came back good, but I noticed that the doc didn't check much on her this time, and it was an annual physical. I wish I had thought to check with him ahead of time as to what orders he had sent to the lab. I did get him to agree to give me orders for a full thyroid panel since he only checked the TSH. So thankful he is willing to work with us.I did tell him about TNI and asked him to check out the website, and told him she is on Longvida. He also knows we are working with Alissa Hodges. One goal we have is for Grace to lose some weight. She is 4' 8" and 147 lbs. Nine years ago, she had got up to 165 (not kidding), but a couple of years ago she was 135. I ensure she gets exercise in various ways throughout the day/week. If she burns enough energy, she sleeps well too. Here is a recent pic View insights474 post reachAll reactions:25Stephanie Ridal, Tricia Seiter and 23 others
